Milan serves as the financial hub of Italy and is often compared to Paris in terms of being a fashion capital resulting in there being many great opportunities for shopping. It is also known for opera and a vibrant night life.

History buffs will delight at LaSala Theatre one of the most renowned opera houses anywhere in the world that has been open since 1778 (renovated in 2004) while others who love to shop will delight at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele where you can find food, upscale shops and a variety of other activities inside this mall that was once a palace.
Eating is an adventure in itself while you’re visiting Milan, not only can you find wonderful Italian foods but you can also enjoy Chinese foods, French foods, Mexican foods and many other options. Cafes are plentiful throughout Milan offering fair prices for a quick bite.
Only over the last several years has Milan adopted their own version of Happy Hour but since it has been adopted it’s typically held between 7pm and 9pm and many stops offer you drinks and cocktails at a fixed price and they’re often accompanied by all you can eat buffets for which you will not be charged. Many times you can enjoy happy hour and dinner all at the same time in places like Straf which offers a wonderful special Italian ambience accompanied by great food and entertainment.

For a disco lover you can head over to Alcatraz where you’ll be entertained with music from the 70s to the 90’s or if disco isn’t your style head to kookabar where you will find a variety of Australian entertainment.
